1) 4th Annual Population Health Science Research Workshop
This December, CHIBE and LDI hosted #PHS2019, which brought together scholars from economics, epidemiology, demography, sociology and related disciplines to present papers on topics related to population health. This event was convened by Atheendar Venkataramani, PhD, MD, MPhil; Jacob Bor, ScD, SM, and Willa Friedman, PhD.
2) The Evidence on Health Behavior Incentives in State Medicaid Programs
At the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting, CHIBE affiliated faculty member Charlene Wong, MD, led a panel in which investigators discussed the latest evidence on the impact of these incentives on healthy behaviors among Medicaid beneficiaries.

This roundtable, hosted by CHIBE and the Behavior Change for Good Initiative, was sponsored by WW and was designed to form new collaborations and spark new ideas on how to create healthy habits and lasting behavior change.

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has awarded Roybal Centers to CHIBE Director Kevin Volpp, MD, PhD, and Scott Halpern, MD, PhD, MBE, Director of the Palliative and Advanced Illness Research (PAIR) Center.
