Drs. Matthew Press, David Oslin win Luigi Mastroianni, Jr. Clinical Innovator Award
Congratulations to Matthew Press, MD, MSc, a CHIBE affiliated faculty member, as well as David W. Oslin, MD, for winning Penn Medicine’s Luigi Mastroianni, Jr. Clinical Innovator Award. The Mastroianni Award recognizes a physician who has made significant contributions toward the invention and development of new techniques, approaches, procedures, or devices that change medical practice and are of major benefit to patient care.
“Dr. Press is a leader in the field of mental health; his major contributions include integrating mental health care into primary care through his research, clinical innovation, and policy-making. Together with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, Drs. Oslin and Press developed, launched, and scaled the Penn Integrated Care (PIC) integrated behavioral health program, which has facilitated more than 21,000 patients find and participate in mental health care,” Penn Medicine’s press release stated.
