Dr. Venkataramani Wins Milbank Quarterly Early Career Award in Population Health
Congratulations to Penn Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Medicine Atheendar Venkataramani, MD, PhD, for receiving the 2021 Milbank Quarterly Early Career Award in Population Health from the Interdisciplinary Association for Population Health Science (IAPHS).
“I’m really thrilled to receive this award, mainly because it reflects the sum work of the great mentors, collaborators, and trainees I’ve gotten to work with,” Dr. Venkataramani said.
“The Milbank Quarterly Early Career Award in Population Health emphasizes contributions that integrate insights from multiple disciplines contributing distinct bodies of knowledge to the challenge of understanding and addressing population health issues,” according to the IAPHS website.
Dr. Venkataramani is Director of the Opportunity for Health Lab, and he is also a CHIBE-affiliated faculty member and a Senior LDI Fellow.
