CHIBE Faculty Win 2021 Penn Medicine Awards
Congratulations to CHIBE-affiliated faculty Raina M. Merchant, MD, MSHP, FAHA; Kit Delgado, MD, MS; and Carmen E. Guerra, MD, MSCE, FACP, who received Penn Medicine Awards of Excellence in 2021 .
Dr. Merchant won the Samuel Martin Health Evaluation Sciences Research Award. In addition to her CHIBE affiliation, Dr. Merchant is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Director of the Penn Medicine Center for Digital Health, and Associate Vice President of Digital Health for Penn Medicine.
Dr. Delgado won the Marjorie A. Bowman New Investigator Research Award. In addition to being a member of CHIBE’s leadership team, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Epidemiology and director of the BeSAFIR Lab.
Dr. Guerra won the Duncan Van Dusen Professionalism Award for Faculty. In addition to her CHIBE affiliation, Dr. Guerra is the Ruth C. and Raymond G. Perelman Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Associate Director of Diversity and Outreach, Abramson Cancer Center.
