The Division of Health Policy, Perelman School of Medicine is hiring a Research Project Manager A/B who will contribute to the successful planning, management and execution of research projects to reduce atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk for Penn Medicine patients. These studies adapt existing behavioral science evidence as well as novel patient, provider and system approaches to identify, diagnose and treat patients at elevated ASCVD risk that will increase and sustain physical activity, improve hypertension management, and lower cholesterol. The Project Manager A/B will manage multiple rapid cycle pilots, leading to the design and implementation of a large randomized control trial to reduce cardiovascular risk by lowering LDL and managing hypertension focused on patients in West and Southwest Philly and in Lancaster, PA. They will also support a large ongoing trial across all Penn Medicine patients to increase long-term physical activity rates. The position requires strong organizational and problem solving skills. An interest and experience with behavioral science solutions are preferred; including comfort with new technologies, study devices and web-based platforms and software. A familiarity with electronic health records is a plus. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to thrive in a diverse working environment. The Division of Health Policy, Perelman School of Medicine is seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Research Coordinator A/B to be responsible for the day-to-day research operations for trials that adapt behavioral sciences approaches to improve health and healthcare delivery for vulnerable populations with high cardiovascular risk. The trials will adapt existing behavioral science evidence as well as novel patient, provider and system approaches to identify, diagnose and treat patients at elevated cardiovascular risk, with a focus on patients in West/Southwest Philly, Lancaster PA, patients with undiagnosed familial hypercholesterolemia, and Black and Hispanic breast and prostate cancer survivors.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. She/He/They will be a highly motivated self-starter, detail oriented and have strong planning and prioritizing capabilities. Must be able to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including investigators, clinical partners and patients. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Comfort with web based platforms and technology strongly preferred.  Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is essential; familiarity with good data management practices, REDCap and previous EHR experience preferred. The Division of Health Policy, Perelman School of Medicine is seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Research Coordinator A/B to be responsible for the day-to-day fieldwork operations for a randomized control trial examining a behavioral economic intervention related to food policy. Fieldwork for this study is taking place primarily in Northeast Philadelphia and involves regularly traveling between our campus in University City and the field site. For this reason, a personal vehicle to transport self and study equipment for fieldwork is required. The Clinical Research Coordinator A will work directly with the study principal investigator, project manager, research coordinators, and other research assistants. Essential functions of this position will include but are not limited to: recruitment and enrollment of study participants; data collection and management in accordance with study protocols; following all IRB and human subjects policies and regulations; managing study-related materials and documentation; communicating with participants; and other research duties as needed. Russian language skills are highly desirable as this study works with a large Russian-speaking population. This is a one-year position, with the possibility of extension dependent on funding. The Penn Medicine Nudge Unit is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator B/C who will be responsible for supporting multiple components of two large effectiveness-implementation trials. Our team will be leading all coordination for an NHLBI-funded trial leveraging behavioral economics to equitably implement cascade screening in individuals with familial hypercholesterolemia in partnership with the Family Heart Foundation. Our team will also be leading the evaluation of implementation outcomes for a trial funded by the National Psoriasis Foundation that is looking to prevent cardiovascular disease and mortality in patients with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. This role requires experience working with multiple research teams from various disease settings. In this work, the CRC will be required to act autonomously in their decision-making, lead the planning and execution of activities to ensure we achieve our milestones. and display excellent communication skills and good judgment.
