Biography

Kathryn Connell is a nurse clinician-scientist whose research examines how intensive care unit structures, nursing resources, and team dynamics influence decision-making and patient outcomes. Drawing on active clinical practice, she integrates behavioral and implementation science to improve how clinicians deliver evidence-based, equitable care. Her recent work in Annals of the American Thoracic Society and Critical Care Medicine explores how organizational design and nursing care continuity affect safety, quality, and the sustainability of high-value care.
