The PAIR Center
The Palliative and Advanced Illness Research (PAIR) Center generates high-quality evidence to advance health care policies and practices with the goals of improving the lives of all people affected by serious illness and removing the barriers to health equity that seriously ill patients commonly face. The center designs and evaluates interventions that help patients with serious illnesses and their loved ones spend more of their time pursuing their life goals without symptoms, burdens, or discrimination of any kind. It also produces real-world research that enables health system leaders and clinicians to set policies and implement practices that improve patient outcomes and maximize health equity.
