Congratulations to Kevin B. Mahoney, MBA, CEO of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and a member of CHIBE’s external advisory board, for being recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as one of 150 most influential Philadelphians right now.
Referred to as “Modern Medicine Man,” Mr. Mahoney was praised for his decision to remove the health system from being considered in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals list (noting the outdated requirements for ranking) and for his efforts to help veterans and boost community mental health.
