Congratulations to Eugenia South, MD, MS, a CHIBE-affiliated faculty member, who won a Women of Color faculty award this year from the University of Pennsylvania’s African-American Resource Center (AARC).
This award is given to someone who shows leadership, service, a commitment to enhancing quality of life for women of color, and someone who makes a positive impact on the community.
Dr. South was celebrated at the 37th annual award ceremony on March 15, 2024.
“The Women of Color Awards are given in recognition of individuals who have conscientiously endeavored to increase respect for women of color at Penn, University of Pennsylvania Health Systems, Presbyterian, Pennsylvania Hospitals and the Delaware Valley community,” the AARC wrote on its website.
