David P. Kirchhoff, MBA
Dave Kirchhoff is CEO of Austin-based iFLY Holdings, LLC., the world leader in design, manufacturing, sales and operations of wind tunnel systems for indoor skydiving. Kirchhoff most recently served as CEO of Austin-based health-food retailer Snap Kitchen since 2015. Prior to Snap Kitchen, Kirchhoff spent 13 years in various roles at Weight Watchers, including President and CEO from 2006 to 2013, where he oversaw the world’s largest weight management organization’s more than 40,000 employees, in addition to revamping its U.S. network’s more than 600 stores. Mr. Kirchhoff was also part of the original start-up team that created WeightWatchers.com, which ultimately became a highly successful paid-for internet content model with well over 1 million active Weight Watchers Online subscribers around the world. Kirchhoff has also held leadership roles at Enthusiast Media Group of Primedia Inc., in addition to Pepsico Inc.
Mr. Kirchhoff is also the author of the New York Times bestselling book, “Weight Loss Boss” (Rodale).
Mr. Kirchhoff’s business philosophy is grounded in the belief that preventive health issues such as obesity are achievable and can be realized through a combination of smart governance, industry support and community empowerment.
Mr. Kirchhoff holds a B.S. in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. with High Honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
