Biography
Sue Hyon Kim is a doctoral student in the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and a CHIBE trainee. She obtained her BSN and MSN degrees from Yonsei University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Before joining Penn, Sue Hyon worked for over 5 years as a critical care nurse in the transplantation department at Samsung Medical Center. Her research interests center on understanding health behavior dynamics and applying behavioral economic concepts to promote healthier choices. She is especially interested in individuals facing stigma and struggling with alcohol or substance use disorders.
