Srinivas Sridhara, PhD, MHS, is the Chief Data & Analytics officer at Penn Medicine, enabling Penn Medicine’s transformative care, research, and education mission and agenda through data and AI products and services.
Dr. Sridhara was previously the SVP & GM of Clinical Transformation and Risk at Optum Labs, the R&D arm of UnitedHealth Group, where he led new product development for AI-powered products to augment clinical decisions and transform clinical risk management. In prior roles at Optum and Advisory Board, Dr. Sridhara led enterprise ML product and data teams to develop new products serving provider, payer, and life sciences with use cases varying from fraud detection and logistics to clinical decision support and consumer analytics. Dr. Sridhara was previously the APCD Director and Chief of Cost and Quality at the Maryland Health Care Commission. He continues to serve on national policy committees and boards that define data and measurement policy for healthcare and CMS, such as NQF and NAHDO.
He has a PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
