Biography
Simone Schriger, MA, is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she works under the mentorship of Dr. Rinad Beidas. She received her BA from Bates College and her MA from the University of Pennsylvania. Simone is dedicated to a career focused on increasing the accessibility of mental health care in resource-limited environments domestically and internationally. She carried out her master’s thesis at Penn on clinical supervision in community mental health agencies in Philadelphia. Her current work focuses on the role of community health workers in bridging gaps in mental health care and in increasing the sustainment and scalability of evidence-based practices in community settings.
