Biography
Jon Cloughesy is a Health Economics doctoral student at the University of Southern California, where he researches the application of behavioral economics to healthcare decision-making. Jon’s interests center around improving the delivery of health care for patients with serious illness, with a focus on palliative care. Prior to beginning his PhD at USC, Jon was a behavioral scientist at Duke University where he conducted large, randomized trials evaluating nudges and financial incentive strategies to improve patient health behaviors.
