Eric T. Roberts, PhD, is an Associate Professor of General Internal Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine.
Trained as a health economist, Dr. Roberts studies the delivery and financing of care within U.S. public insurance programs. His research focuses on health insurance for Medicare-Medicaid dual eligibles, Medicare and Medicaid managed care, and how payment and delivery system reforms impact healthcare disparities.
Dr. Roberts’ work has appeared in journals such as JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, Health Services Research, and Health Affairs, and his research has been funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, National Institute on Aging, Veterans Health Administration, Arnold Ventures, and the Commonwealth Fund.
He holds a PhD in Health Economics & Policy from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health.
