Biography
Elizabeth Cooney-Zingman is Chief of Staff for the PAIR Center and Assistant Director of the FIELDS Program, providing broad administrative and operational leadership, while ensuring the PAIR Center’s programmatic objectives are achieved.
Beth joined Dr. Scott Halpern’s team in January 2011 as a project manager and helped launch the Fostering Improvement in End-of-Life Decision Science (FIELDS) Program in 2012 as its Assistant Director. She has been instrumentally involved in the management and proposal development for several clinical trials in critical care health services research as well as numerous studies designed to motivate advance directive completion and build better advance directives. Prior to joining Penn, she was the Product Manager of MyStudentBody.com, a health promotion and education program for colleges and universities. She has a Master of Public Health degree from the Boston University School of Public Health and an undergraduate degree in Health Studies from Georgetown University. Beth lives in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood and enjoys acting as Philly concierge for friends and family looking to explore the city. She volunteers with a high school theater program and loves being an Aunt to her nieces and nephews. Beth is an avid reader and fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and Georgetown Hoyas.
