- Letters of intent due: October 31 (the deadline was recently extended beyond Oct 15)
- Notification to proceed to full application: November 7
- Full proposal applications are due: January 5, 2026*
- Anticipated project start date: June 1, 2026, pending NIA approval
- Duration of project: 18 months
- Total costs (direct + indirect costs): $200,000
Details:
CHIBE is particularly interested in applications that:
- Explore mechanisms of behavior change in rigorous and innovative ways
- Generate knowledge at an appropriate stage that contributes to effective and scalable interventions
- Bonus points:
- Incorporate one or more of the Penn P30 themes: Design thinking, digital platforms, and dynamic adaptation
- Have focus on Food is Medicine and/or cardiovascular risk reduction (other topics will be considered and are encouraged)
