Biography
Dave Kirchhoff is a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group in their Austin, TX, office, returning to the firm after 20 years of operating roles. Prior to BCG, Mr. Kirchhoff held a variety of operating and CEO roles most recently with companies such as Snap Kitchen (healthy prepared meals) and iFly. Mr. Kirchhoff was also an Executive in Residence at Warburg Pincus, where he helped incubate Helix, a large scale DNA sequencing platform used for consumer and population health applications. For most of his career, Mr. Kirchhoff was with Weight Watchers International, including President and CEO from 2007 to 2013, where he oversaw the world’s largest weight management organization’s more than 40,000 employees. Mr. Kirchhoff was also part of the original start-up team that created WeightWatchers.com, whose digital products continue to be successfully used by millions of consumers around the world. Mr. Kirchhoff is also the author of the New York Times bestselling book, Weight Loss Boss (Rodale). Mr. Kirchhoff is passionate in the belief that preventive health issues such as obesity are achievable and can be realized through proven solutions made more powerful with smart governance, industry support, and community empowerment. Mr. Kirchhoff holds a BS in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
